Here\u2019s a simple guide:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Assemble the pole: Connect the pole sections together, starting with the thinnest and working your way to the thickest.<\/li>\n<li>Attach the flag: Slide the flag onto the assembled pole.<\/li>\n<li>Secure the flag: Most feather flags have a finial at the top to keep the flag in place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Choose your base:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>For soft ground: Use the ground spike. Simply twist or hammer it into the ground until it\u2019s stable. (Always check for underground utilities before installation!)<\/li>\n<li>For hard surfaces: Use the cross base. Unfold the legs and place it on a flat surface.
